All of us whether we realize it or not need community. We need to belong; we need to know that there is someone out there who has our back. Not only do we need community in a broader sense of the word, but even more specifically when we need mentors in our life. Men and women who can come alongside of us whether a specific period or task or a more long-term relationship whose belief in us and input into our lives helps us to reach our God given purpose and destination. Dr. Dwight A. Perry in his very simple but profound way has blessed the Church again with another outstanding resource entitled The Hole in My Soul.
